How big is a Cavaletti block?

Depending on the material and type, a cavaletti block is between 45 and 60 cm long and between 30 and 60 cm high. Cavaletti blocks are height-adjustable so that the cavaletti poles can either be hung just above the ground or fixed 15 - 30 cm or 40 - 50 cm above the ground.

The cavaletti poles rest on the blocks or are pushed into them. The length of the poles is usually 2.50 - 3.50 metres.

What materials are Cavaletti blocks made of?
