The feed bin can be locked and is mobile on 4 movable 100 mm solid rubber wheels. Optionally, it is possible to order the feed bin with larger diameter wheels. Either 160 mm solid rubber wheels or pneumatic wheels with a diameter of 200 mm.

Feed containers are an optimal solution to store your horse's feed neatly and tidily. This way, you no longer have to store the open feed bags or sacks on the ground and fear that they could tip over at any moment.
Feed containers are a vessel in different sizes in which the horse feed can be stored and tightly closed with a lid. Due to the airtight lid, the feed stays fresh and vitamins and nutrients can be preserved.
The smaller feed containers are usually made of plastic, the larger ones of metal.
On average, feeders have a height of between 54 cm and 67 cm. The width of the feeders varies, as there are both round and square feeders. Some feeders have wheels and some are divided again inside. This serves to store several types of food.
In addition to the different materials such as plastic or metal, there are also feed containers in different sizes, some of which even have wheels or dividers for better flexibility. There is also a so-called feed bin, which enables the ideal storage of the feed.
The small food containers are used to store a small amount of food and usually only have one large compartment in the middle and a lid.
The feed troughs, which have wheels attached at the bottom, are for easy mobility and allow you to push the feed trough from box to box in the barn. This allows you to fill several feed troughs, but also only one.
The wheels allow you to push the feed bin directly to the trough rather than having to pour the horse feed from the bin into a bucket and then into the trough.
Dividers in the container are ideal for storing different types of feed. This way you can feed several horses with different feeding needs without the feed types mixing.
A feed bin with a lockable lid is perfect for both large and small quantities of feed, as the feed bin comes in a very wide range of sizes. For horse feed, it is recommended to buy a large feed bin.
Between 40 and 70 litres fit into a feed container for horses. Depending on how big the feed bags are, the volume of the feed container must also be adjusted. We always advise buying a larger feed container to be able to store as much feed as possible. This way you don't have to constantly refill the feed stock.
